Since 1951, we’ve remained one of North Carolina’s most respected providers of long-term care. Baptist Retirement Homes of North Carolina Incorporated, is a not-for-profit organization committed to providing quality care and a meaningful way of life for residents and staff. A place where residents and staff become an extension of family that recognizes the dignity and worth of each individual.
BRH is a corporation made up of three continuing care retirement communities and a free-standing assisted living facility. Our beautiful facilities include:
- Independent living
- Assisted living
- Memory-enhanced residences
- Short-term rehabilitation and long-term nursing care
You’ll find that we’re dedicated to truly caring for our residents at our locations throughout the state. Our retirement homes are:
The Gardens of Taylor Glen
Taylor Glen residents are able to embrace an active retirement lifestyle by taking advantage of a wide variety of campus and community activities, whether fishing by the lake or enjoying the walking trails. Its convenient location of halfway between the state’s beaches and mountains means residents can have the best of both worlds. Nearby Concord offers delightful mix of both history and activities, where residents can enjoy performances at the local community theater or outdoor summer concerts. If a larger city is more your style, Charlotte is thirty minutes away.
The natural beauty of our Brookridge campus invites residents to enjoy their retirement years. Nearby golf courses, the cobblestone streets of Old Salem, and a host of other Triad attractions means there’s plenty to enjoy and do at Brookridge.
Western North Carolina
Nestled in the idyllic setting of the Blue Ridge Mountains, our Western North Carolina facility sits on a mountain above Asheville and has been providing outstanding, exceptional care since 1979. Asheville is a popular tourist destination, and residents are able to take advantage of a multitude of events in addition to the breathtaking fall foliage that draws visitors from across the state. Downtown offers several music venues, quaint shops, and unique Art Deco architecture.
There’s nothing like the relaxation you can find in a small, North Carolina piedmont town such as Albemarle. Taylor House allows residents to unwind and enjoy the graceful pace of life. However, for those who desire the events and activities of a larger city, Albemarle is one hour away from Charlotte, the largest city in North Carolina.
All of our Baptist Retirement Homes Communities offer residents the security of lifetime care, including the promise that if their life expectancy out distances their financial resources, Baptist Retirement Homes will continue to care for them for the remainder of their lives.
We invite you to contact us to see the value, care and dedication that makes us different from other retirement homes and long-term care facilities. We’ll be happy to answer all your questions and schedule a tour for you at one of our communities.
At Baptist Retirement Homes, we offer the dignity you deserve and the high-quality care you need.
